Dr. Charles Añonuevo earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois School of Dentistry in Chicago before becoming an Army officer and dentist. He was stationed in Fort Bragg and Fort Gordon, where he met the comprehensive dental needs of his fellow soldiers and military personnel. While serving in the Army on deployment to Iraq, Dr. Añonuevo was awarded the Army Commendation Medal.
Dr. Añonuevo has been practicing in Charlotte since 2014 and is an active member of numerous dental associations, including the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He also belongs to the Greater Charlotte Study Group, which allows him to stay on the leading edge of modern dentistry techniques and technology.
Dr. Añonuevo is passionate about giving back to the community through volunteer activities like Mission of Mercy clinics and by mentoring students interested in going into the dental field.
