More about Dr. Mia W. Fitzgerald

Dr. Mia W. Fitzgerald graduated from the prestigious Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. Upon moving to the United States, Dr. Fitzgerald enrolled in the Goldman School of Dentistry at Boston University where she graduated with high honors. The dentist began her career in the U.S. working alongside her father-in-law, Dr. Maurice Fitzgerald Jr. She took over his Sudbury dental practice upon his retirement in 2004. Dr. Mia stays on top of the latest advances in restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry by completing numerous education programs each year. In fact, she is a graduate of the prestigious Kois Center of Seattle, where she now serves as mentor.

Dr. Fitzgerald is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Fitzgerald recently attained her Fellowship from the Academy and is currently working towards the Master program. She is also an associate member of Omicron Kappa Epsilon. During her free time, Dr. Fitzgerald enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She enjoys staying active through yoga and running, and supporting the Sudbury Little League teams and non-profit organizations.
