“Nobody hates the dentist more than me and with that being said, I still highly recommend Dr. Poiman. I have been getting my cleanings and check-ups here for about the past 3 years. I’m an aggressive tooth brushing type, which I recently learned is causing my gums to recede. As a preventive measure, they recommended tooth scaling, root planing and antibiotics (injected in the gums). A man has to do what a man has to do, after a blank stare and deep breath, I agreed to get it done. More about Dr. David Poiman

David Poiman, DMD, FAGD, received his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry and received the Delaware Valley Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery award for oral implantology and the Crest award for excellence in preventive dentistry for the Elderly from the American Academy of Oral Medicine when he graduated. He completed his general practice residency training at New York Medical College in the Department of Dentistry. Upon completion of his training, Dr. Poiman received the Biotene Award for Excellence in Hospital Dentistry.

After completing 500 hours of continuing dental education and passing rigorous testing, Dr. Poiman was named a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He also belongs to the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and other prestigious organizations.
